In an industry of shortcuts,
we chose the long road.

Hair restoration has become an industry of volume — of patients, of marketing, of promises. Revio was built on a quieter conviction: some procedures should never be rushed, and some incisions should never be delegated.

Hairline architecture — drawn by hand, follicle by follicle

Why Revio
exists.

Between high-volume hair factories and unregulated travel clinics, the patient's identity was being lost in the pursuit of profit.

Dr. Vézina founded Revio in response — not to compete on price, not to scale on volume, but to offer something the industry had quietly stopped offering: a hair restoration practice where the physician performs the surgery.

The decision came with trade-offs. A physician can only perform so many procedures in a week. A boutique clinic cannot match the throughput of a factory. We accepted those limits — because the alternative was accepting compromises that should not be made on a patient's face.

Every surgical incision,
performed by Dr. Vézina.

This is the single line that defines Revio. Not "physician-supervised." Not "physician-directed." When it comes to the surgical incisions: physician-performed.

The physician's hands

What Dr. Vézina performs

Every act of the procedure that breaks the skin: the donor harvesting punches, the recipient sites that determine where each new follicle will sit, and the hairline architecture that shapes the result. She also conducts the consultation, designs the plan, administers the anesthesia, and oversees your post-operative care herself.

Under direct oversight

The role of the lead technician

Non-incisional supporting work is performed by our lead technician — a specialist in hair restoration since 2006 — under Dr. Vézina's direct oversight: extracting follicles from the sites she has scored, sorting and quality-checking grafts under microscope, and implanting each graft into the recipient site she has created.

The legal line
most clinics blur.

This division of work is the legally required model in Canada: incisions must be made by a licensed physician; non-incisional preparation, extraction, and implantation may lawfully be delegated to trained technicians. At reputable clinics, this is how the work is divided.

At unregulated overseas operations — and the black-market clinics now common in major Canadian cities — this distinction is routinely ignored. The consequences arrive at our door as revision cases.

Why this matters.

A hair transplant is a permanent modification of how your face is read. The angles of the donor punches, the placement and depth of every recipient site, the architecture of the hairline — these are the decisions that determine whether the result looks natural or surgical, whether the donor area scars visibly, whether the procedure can be repeated later.

They are physician decisions, made by a physician's hand. That belief is not negotiable here.
